My name is Jan Hirst and I started breeding back in 1979 when I obtained my first Siamese cat, a blue point girl "Kirsta Mallisa" who was named after my daughter Melissa. After several years of breeding Siamese, I retired all the girls and due to family commitments just enjoyed the company of my cats.
However back in October 2000, we had lost our special boy and as we had only one of our original gang left, we bought a young chocolate boy for company, but we then met the Orientals and were smitten.
I now have some lovely cats as my web pages show, I only breed from my girls once a year to ensure they are in good health and pass this onto their kittens.
My kittens are reared in the home, and are well socialized, whether they are for show, pet or breeding.
I specialize in Havanas, Cinnamons and Blacks although I do occasionally have other colours available and of course Siamese kittens are sometimes available.
Available kittens can be found on my Kitten page, all kittens leave home fully vaccinated, registered and with 6 weeks insurance and on the condition that their new home is a permanent home.
We live in Nottinghamshire.
Toghar is my breeder's prefix, registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF.)
